Geology Hike

Geology Hike

We will explore the geologic history by examining the rocks and sediments preserved along the walls of the gorge. The history spans the past 250 million years and includes the ice ages, the stream dynamics of Rathburn Run, and the past human use in the park. These group hikes are brought to you by Friends of Wooster Memorial Park (www.friendsofwmp.com) and are open to the public. Event will begin at the Education Parking Area at 2pm. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Come prepared for the weather and to have a good time!
