Rathburn Run has carved a magnificent valley with a stream full of wonder and fun at the bottom! We'll hike to the creek and learn about the rocks we find there, where they came from, and some of the critters that live there. Wear shoes appropriate for creek walking. This program is appropriate for children with adults.
On June 3, Dan Herms, chair of the Department of Entomology led an educational hike on the Emerald Ash Borer impact on the ash trees at Wooster Memorial Park and the nation. Dr. Herms is a recognized national expert and researcher on the EAB and shared his knowledge and experience with 15 participants.
